CERTIFICATIONS
In 2012 Cartotecnica Mara obtained FSC® certification.
This certification makes derived products traceable. Converting and distribution companies holding FSC® certification must comply with precise rules and requirements, such as strict environmental, social and economic standards. Ask for FSC® certified products.
Current regulations and market trends call for FSC® certified thermal paper, which guarantees responsible forest management and the protection of the chain of custody.
Cartotecnica Mara has been FSC certified since 2012 and therefore manufactures paper products with respect for the environment.
With a view to reducing environmental impact, Cartotecnica Mara also offers 48 gsm paper rolls, thinner than a standard 55 gsm receipt: for the same diameter the roll is 15% longer, reducing how often rolls have to be changed at the till (saving time).
This translates into saved storage space and therefore also into lower CO2 emissions, from production through to delivery to the customer.
